Stoll supports the Bruderhausdiakonie
In view of the current global
status, medical protective equipment is in short supply in many
places. As a manufacturer of flat knitting machines, STOLL
actively supports its partners and customers in the current
situation. STOLL recently provided the Bruderhausdiakonie
Reutlingen with a flat knitting machine for the production of
oronasal masks for the staff of these companies.
The two companies, H. STOLL AG & Co. KG
and the Bruderhausdiakonie, have enjoyed a close and trusted
partnership and friendship for many years. The two companies
have always felt strongly connected and maintain close contact;
The Bruderhausdiakonie is a non-profit,
Christian-diaconal foundation. Diakonie's offerings include a
wide range of assistance and support services for children,
adolescents and adults. With around 4500 employees, the
Bruderhausdiakonie is an important institution in the region.
With the goal of “Having a part. Be part” – the Diakonie enables
people to participate in work, education, home and society.
The handover of an ADF 530-16 BW took
place in a small group on the premises of the Bruderhausdiakonie.
Andreas Schellhammer, CEO of STOLL, handed over the flat
knitting machine to a member of the Board of Directors of
Diakonie, Lothar Bauer. This means that Bruderhausddiakonie is
now able to knit oronasal masks independently for the entire
Diakonie workforce on site.
"It is a matter of course for STOLL to
stick together in this extraordinary situation, which is
difficult for all of us"; says Andreas Schellhammer. "We look
forward to being able to help with our know-how and technology
and to be a reliable and supportive partner."
