SwissTex France: Textile and industrial yarn processing
technologies |
 |
|
Today’s production
of textile and industrial yarns is a challenge requiring
flexibility, creativity and market knowledge. With 100 years
experience in yarn machinery, SwissTex France (previously
known under the brands Verdol, ICBT, Rieter FYT and RITM) is
a major player in the field of textile machinery. SwissTex
France will be present at Hall W2 / Booth D22 during the
ITMA ASIA + CITME show. |
Textile yarn processing
SwissTex France has perfect solution to meets most complete
range on the market of twisting machines for embroidery and
sewing thread applications; single and double covering machines
for hosiery, stockings, sportswear and technical yarns, air
covering machines for hosiery, stockings and sportswear and
lastly, combined machines to twist and shrink nylon yarn through
thermal treatment.
Industrial Yarns: SwissTex France
reinforces its leading position
Since the launching of the UT 50 machine, back in 2005, well
appreciated for its flexibility and for the quality of yarn and
package produced, SwissTex France sets a reference for
two-for-one twisting machines for industrial yarns.
Listening to the market demands, the machine range is
continuously extended to offer the best product to answer all
customers’ needs:
For the last ITMA ASIA + CITME and CINTE Techtextil China
shows, held in 2008 in Shanghai, SwissTex France exhibited a
running UT 50. Now a 900 mm spindle gauge machine is proposed
for twisting heavier yarns, which increases the yarn count range
up to 60,000 dtex.
UTC 60 – a step ahead in twisting & cabling:
The Universal Twister & Cabler 60 enables either to twist yarn
using the two-for-one principle or to cable yarn using the
direct cabling principle. Getting one more process on the same
machine is of course a big advantage for the yarn producers!
UTW 40 – one step process in assembling and twisting:
The UTW 40 enables to remove one step in the process chain while
producing 3 ply cabled cord. It uses individual positions and
the latest state of the art drives for a maximum flexibility.
Glass Yarns: Worldwide reputation
SwissTex France reacts to its customer’s demands by offering
its products everywhere and supplying permanently the machines
that best fits the customer’s needs.
SwissTex France is always in search of new ways to increase
its equipment performances. ITMA ASIA + CITME will be the
occasion to show off its latest improvements, such as:
- New motorized spindles.
- New motor-creels.
- Improved doffing time.
- Reduced chain yarn breaks and yarn external pollution.
- Quick UNIX operating system.
Tire Cord: Inventing technology
With its experience built over decades and orders to be
delivered in China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Eastern and Western
Europe, USA and Brazil, SwissTex France remains the major
partner of the tire cord manufacturers all over the world.
The open pot technology, allowing tremendous labour cost
reduction, gives all our direct cabling machines unrivalled
ergonomic and keeps SwissTex France one-step ahead.
The success of the CP machines shows, year after year, its
complete suitability with the market needs, not only in terms of
yarn quality and energy consumption, but also in term of
environmental impact of the machines themselves. That is why all
CP machines are equipped as a standard with heat extraction
system fully integrated in the machine frame allowing reduction
on air conditioning cost and consequently finished yarn cost.
With the latest technology used to optimize the Human Machine
Interface, the CP 06 is equipped with a friendly
self-explanatory touch screen allowing the use of most of the
characters in the world, such as Chinese ones for example. The
user can switch back to English in one touch anyway.
The CP 10 machine with its individual inverter per spindle is
best assurance of the speed stability and twisting accuracy and,
in association with the inertia wheel concept, allows adjusting
decelerating ramps in order to optimize the yarn quality even
during power failure.
Carpet Yarns: Matchless partner
The conversion of carpet fibers is today becoming very
versatile, new yarn types are engineered and the integrated
customers or converters need flexible and performing production
equipment with the highest level of quality.
SwissTex France has more than 30 years of experience in
carpet yarns and is major player supplying machinery in the
field of twisting and cabling for synthetic filaments and spun
yarns. Therefore, SwissTex France will present most complete
product range of textile machinery on the carpet market namely:
CDDT 10 – Leader in Turkish market:
- Basic, robust and standard design with main spindle motors
driven by inverters.
- Reliable spindle transmission with belts, with low
maintenance cost.
- Fully suitable with new trends such as shaggy and super
shaggy, “frizé” and shiny yarn.
- Lowest power consumption on the market.
- Down offing time under control thanks to M.US.T.
monitoring system.
CDDT 20 – Flexibility at the highest
level
- Available with standard mechanical spindles and with

Wool Touch® by SwissTex France -
Discover the outstanding Spun Yarn effect!
With Wool Touch®, SwissTex France is boosting the Spun yarn
effect in combination with or without its famous “3 PLY” kit for
new yarn engineering.
M.U.S.T., Monitoring Unit System
for Textile machinery: Production under control
SwissTex France will bring out its complete and comprehensive
plant management system, M.U.S.T., already installed at major
carpet, glass and T&I yarn producers. M.U.S.T. enables an
overview of process information, production results and quality
control data at all levels from the twister and cabler to the
weaving looms via the heat setting machines. M.U.S.T. is
becoming compatible with RFID technology for tag
read/write/print tags through hand held computer traceability.
