Stäubli is a
mechatronics solution provider with three dedicated
divisions: textile machinery, connectors and robotics. With
a workforce of 3000, Stäubli has presence in 25 countries
and agents in 50 countries around the world. The Textile
Machinery division is represented by Simag in Pakistan. |
Stäubli will be participating at ITMA Asia 2010 showing
machinery on its booth C01 in hall E4. A selection of the most
modern products of the complete textile machinery range of
Stäubli will be on show, such are the cam motions and
dobby machines, the electronic Jacquard machines
and harnesses, and weaving preparation systems
division with automatic warp drawing-in, leasing and
tying machines. All machines will be demonstrated in running
condition with various applications.
On the common booth Group member Schönherr carpet
systems will have its exclusive carpet samples – with
ever widening range - on show, produced on the highly productive
ALPHA 400 carpet-weaving machine series, and Group
member DEIMO will present state-of-the-art
electronic control solutions for mainly textile machinery.
Exhibits at booth
For the first time in public the new SX type electronic
Jacquard machine can be seen running on the booth. The SX is
an extremely versatile machine for a wide application range. It
will be demonstrated in a 2688 hooks format on an air-jet
weaving machine running at very high speed.
A second Jacquard machine - an LX 1602 with 5120 hooks
– is working on a rapier weaving machine producing 340
cm wide fabric.

To have a detailed look at the working Jacquard units a
direct access from the second floor of the two storey booth
building to the gantry shall be made possible.
To complete the wide range of Jacquard machine application an
LX 32 type for weaving labels and CX 182 type for weaving
names in selvedges are being demonstrated on the ground
floor of the booth. The full range of Stäubli harness types will
be demonstrated with an SX jacquard machine on a stand at high
speed.
The exposures of electronic dobbies such as the
negative dobby type S2700 with 10 heald frames, and the
high-end electronic rotary dobby 2881, and - also
for the first time in public - the S1351 type cam motion for the
application on high-speed air-jet weaving machines to be used on
any type of weaving machine, complete the picture of the Stäubli
shedding systems.
Stäubli’s Weaving Preparation Division will present - as a
world novelty - the mobile automatic drawing-in machine
SAFIR S30, a unit that moves along to the stable warp
during drawing-in. Furthermore the warp-tying machines
MAGMA for coarser yarn counts, and proven TOPMATIC
for standard application, and multilayer leasing machine
OPAL for leasing a 1:1 lease in warps with up to 8
layers including colour detection will be demonstrated. That
range of products points out the ever increasing importance of
automation also in the production stages before weaving.
Visitors to the Stäubli booth will be impressed by above
novelties and the selection of the high-tech products on show,
all serving the effective production of high-quality standard
textiles as per today’s requirements:
Additional examples of Stäubli products can be seen during
ITMA Asia on various stands of Stäubli partners on numerous
applications with Jacquard machines, dobbies and cam motions.
