Savio: New SIRIUS Two-for-One twister |

According
to Savio, “We will attend this event with a very special
feeling: in fact Savio is approaching the important anniversary
of 2011, the centenary from foundation in 1911. This exhibition
is thus the prelude of next year’s appointment in Barcelona; we
do want to let people know and appreciate even more our Company
and our Products, highlighting what Savio does and has done in
almost one hundred years of history”.
Also this year Savio will display its most important products
both in the winding and the twisting segment: automatic
winder model ORION, POLAR/I DLS “Link type” and the new SIRIUS
Two-for-One twister. This machine underlines Savio’s
constant engagement in R&D and in the continuous research for
new solutions, which has distinguished Savio since 1911!
Machines on display
ORION - Automatic Winder
Automatic winder, manufactured at Chinese plant “Savio
(Shandong) Textile Machinery”, located in Jining, is
particularly designed for the local market in order to meet the
high yarn quality demand together with high production output,
reduced energy consumption, maintenance and investment.
The machine with manual bobbins feeding and manual packages
doffing, completely controls all the parameters of the winding
process by the main PC. In addition it has the self-diagnosis
monitoring per each winding head. High productivity together
with yarn and package quality level can be obtained thanks to
the flexible and intelligent cycle in addition to the controlled
and customized dynamic drum acceleration. The direct drive of
the moving parts and the specially designed suction fan allow a
reduced energy consumption.
POLAR/I Direct Link System
The automatic winder “link type” has attracted a great
interest in the Chinese market, because of the growing
difficulty of hiring specialized labour. POLAR I/DLS introduces
a new concept in automatic link winding: ergonomics and user
friendly sophistication.
The yarn spinning industry, in a short span of time, has made
a huge leap toward modernization. Simplicity and effectiveness
are the pillars of the entire Polar project.
The POLAR/I DLS boasts a unique spinning frame to winder
close loop feeding system, the winder being an extension of the
same, ensuring total free flow of the materials. From ring frame
bobbin to the final package, the yarn is processed untouched and
with zero transit time, ensuring maximum quality, less material
handling and no chances of contamination. As the ring frames get
longer, POLAR I/DLS comes in a modular hi-efficiency bobbin
processing system, ensuring the best utilization.

POLAR I/DLS- a new concept in
automatic link winding. |
The spindle’s yarn path has been straightened reducing yarn
deflections and each spindle now holds two - ready to wind -
bobbins as stand by. In order to ensure the lowest power
consumption, the suction unit is equipped with a high
efficiency, inverter driven suction unit. A fully integrated
suction management system ensures optimum suction generation
that adjust itself to the actual demand from the machine. Thanks
to this feature and the further refined spindle’s Flexycycle,
hard waste is reduced to the minimum.
NEW SIRIUS: Two-for-One twister
The new generation of Two-for-One twister is available in two
models, M (mechanical driving system) and E (electronic driving
system). The Sirius E model is equipped with independent
inverters and motors which allow to set all processing
parameters by the machine PC. This innovation derives from the
electronic know how that Savio has experienced on other
sophisticated products. The aim of this innovation is to
drastically reduce the set-up times at every lot change.
Consequently, the number of workers dedicated to each machine is
reduced.
The simple touch screen PC allows to change settings
continuously and no more “by step”: the operator can obtain
every possible combination of parameters in order to reach the
best output working condition. Sirius E has been designed in
compliance with the requirements collected from Savio customers
with whom Savio is honored to share the fellowship.
