Mesdan to display Elamatic the new automatic Digital Elmendorf Tearing Tester

At the forthcoming ITMA Asia – CITME exhibition (Shanghai, 22-26 June 2010), the renowned Splicer and Laboratory equipment producer from Italy, Mesdan SpA,  will display in the Italian cluster a variety of well known and NEW yarn splicers (Jointair® – Aquasplicer® – Hot Jointair®) as well as some NEW Q.C. Laboratory instruments

ELMATIC

The Automatic Digital Elmendorf Tearing tester endowed with the following features:

• Measuring range from 200cN to 30.000 cN for testing fine and heavy duty materials (textiles, leather, paper, plastics, etc).
• Automatic tear test execution.
• Automatic pendulum brake.
• Automatic reposition of pendulum in the starting position.
• Automatic pendulum raise with reset.
• Total safety cover during testing operation until pendulum swinging is terminated.
• Large LCD display with PC & printer connection.
• High productivity with accurate and repeatable results in conformity with major International testing Standards.

Besides ELMATIC, the Mesdan- Lab division will showcase:

• The NEW sliver & yarn EVENNESS TESTER model MT-5.
• The fully automatic yarn strength tester AUTODYN.
• The modular NEW 9 position MARTINDALE Abrasion & Pilling tester.

On the SPLICER side (Mesdan® Yarn Joining Division), several novelties will be on display.
