In Hall E4 Stand No. B01 Dornier will present a PS rapier weaving machine, proving once again their expertise for the production of technical textiles. During the exhibition different versions of conveyor belt fabrics will be woven on this extremely sturdy machine with heavy reed beat up and positive controlled center transfer.

The versatile system family

The Dornier weaving machine system family, composed of rapier and air-jet weaving machines, offers all necessary requirements for the production of technical textiles.

The gentle filling process with very low tension peaks enables the processing of extremely subtle yarns. During open shed insertion the yarn is tightly held by the positively controlled rapier head and gently inserted into the shed without any guiding elements.

Both machines can hold an extremely high or low warp tension which enables to weave very dense fabrics such as conveyor belts or aramid fabrics as well as open mesh structures of glass or also carbon.

Dornier PX – the lean machine

The weaver of apparel fabrics or home textiles will be informed about a very advantageous solution: the PX rapier weaving machine.

Especially in the area of decorative and upholstery fabrics, the PX serves the market requirements in the best possible way.

It is an all-round machine with standardized Dornier technology. With the PX, the versatile possibilities of the Dornier rapier weaving machine have been refined down to the essential requirements of the apparel and home textiles weaver: the established machine widths of 190 and 220 cm are available in dobby and Jacquard version.

Fabrics from dobby machines as well as multicolor patterned Jacquard fabrics with filling variations of nep yarn, chenille or i.e. lurex can be easily woven on PX weaving machines.
