Andritz Küsters together with Perfojet presents
JETlace 3000 technology

Andritz Küsters, together with Perfojet will present its latest innovations for spunlace and spunjet technologies, including strategic parts of spunlace technology at ITMA Asia+CITME 2010. Designed by Perfojet, these parts offer benefits for spunlace process like energy savings.

The main part of the hydroentanglement process is called injector. Perfojet's injector is fitted out with filtering cartridge to ensure final filtration of process water just before the strip, and EXH strip which provide a perfect quality of needles water. Spunlace producers have the opportunity to customize their final fabrics with Perfojet's patterning sleeves such as MP+ and MPP.

The company will also present JETlace 3000, which is capable of producing spunlace fabrics from 30 to 500 gsm and with capacities of up to 25,000 tons per year. The JETlace Avantage enables spunlace fabrics to be produced from 30 to 120gsm with capacities of up to 4,000 tons per year, according to the company.

In addition, it will bring forward its recent market introduction of the JETlace Essential machine for the production of wipes, which can be configured for lightweight fabrics from 30 to 80gsm and with an annual capacity up to 15,000 tons.

For the nonwovens industry, Perfojet also supplies advanced spunjet technology. Perfojet's SPUNjet fabrics combine the strength of spunbond with the softness of spunlace. The company further explains that the Spunjet process offers additional fabric properties with regard to softness, drape, tensile strength and isotropic MD:CD ratio.
