JSFA 388/388A
Jiangsu Kaigong Machinery Co.,Ltd. has
developed the latest highly efficient combing
machine-JSFA388/388A cotton comber which offers high speed,
production and quality with low power consumption. The new
comber is a predecessor JSFA286, and JSFA288 cotton combers,
which are already sold to many customers in China and other
Asian countries.

Salient features
New type of high efficiency and stable head driving
mechanism, with optimum quality comber parts and movements
results in less consumption, lower noise, reduced vibration, and
more stable performance of the machine. Similarly, a
high-quality, high efficiency, and power-saving combing feature
of new system, ensures optimum combing of the fiber, with
optimum fiber length and parallelism.
The new suction system is better adapted to high speed
combing and noil elimination optimizes the air flow's adjustment
and control. It has the noil air complementary setting that has
reduced the impact and influence from the air against the cotton
web, which ultimately reduces the consumption.
The reliable quality is achieved through online monitor
control design, which improves quality, optimum material
utilization, reducing the consumption and enhancing the back
processing with lower power consumption.

Computerized Roving Frames
The computerized high speed Suspend flyer Roving frame from
Kaigong Machinery adopts the advanced computer numerical control
technique, while eliminating cone drum structure.
This new technology ensures that four main drive parts run
independently, and are controlled by computer numerical control
system and servo drive operation. In Chinese market, it can be
considered as one of the most advanced roving frames with
mechanical-electrical integration. It is suitable for pure and
blended processing of combed cotton fibre and artificial fibres.
The arrangement of motors in headstock offers simple and
convenient interface for adjustment and processing of yarn.
Similarly, the pendulum weighting arm with pneumatic pressing is
convenient for adjustment and maintenance. In order to guarantee
the precision of the driving mechanism, the system adopts
synchronous belt to reduce noise and reduces maintenance costs.
Other important features include automatic lubrication
system; touch screen operation board and flyer protection cover.
The revolving cleaner improves the working environment and
production efficiency due to smooth lint free operation of the
roving frames.
Compact Spinning System
Compact spinning is a recent spinning technique to produce
condensed high quality yarn. To reduce and eliminate the
spinning triangle at the front roller (a known phenomenon in
conventional ring spinning that leads to multitude of
deficiencies, e.g. hairiness, end breaks, etc.), a compacting
device is added to control and condense the strand of fibre
coming out of the drafting zone. This helps to reduce hairiness
and increase yarn quality greatly.
Based on market requirements in China, and compact spinning
technologies used overseas, Kaigong has developed two types of
compact spinning systems for different customers. The company
offers good quality, low cost, easy and quick conversion for any
type of ring frames, which facilitates retrofit decisions for
large scale expansion or conversion of new plant. Therefore,
keeping the original machine frame structure unchanged, and
utilizing the old bottom rollers, pendulum arm and drafting
system, the new compact spinning device can be easily installed
by Kaigong engineers.
For pneumatic compacting, only simple flexible pipes are
needed to be connected onto the negative pressure chamber
sitting on top of the original pneumafil suction duct.
For pneumatic compacting, the negative pressure fan drive is
collectively driven, which is structurally simple and easy to
install. The main suction motor is fixed on the ground by four
expansion screws, while the small fans and transmission parts
are mounted on the original machine frames. The electrical
control panels need no further changes as it can be adapted with
minimal alterations. There are different sizes of condensing
troughs for compacting different types of yarns, according to
customers’ end uses.
