Knit Tex 2010 at Tirupur, India

Knit Tex 2010 is the 4th international biennial technology tradeshow for the Indian knitwear industry. It is scheduled during March 5 - 8, 2010 at Hotel Velan Fair Grounds, Tirupur, India.

As the world's second largest producer of textiles and garments, India's garment exports totaled US$ 9.68 billion during 2007-08, out of which Ready Made Garments amounted to US$ 9.4 billion.

The Apparel Sector alone contributes to 8% of India's total exports with exports by the year 2011-12, India expects to record a 15% growth in quantity and 20% growth in value terms. The annual average exports of Apparel Industry of India are Rs 25,000 Crores.

This show is expected to promote  the best market players and technology leaders under one roof. The exhibit display will be knitting, dyeing, compacting, laundry, sewing, embroidery, finishing, fabrics, CAD/CAM/ITES, Accessories, Pre-Owned Machines, Technical Textiles, Support Services and products and services related to knitwear industry.
