Less stressful work thanks to 3XDRY®
“Feelgood Technology" supports natural
physical functions and performance capacity
From A for Anchorman to B for Builder, C for Caterer, D for
Dentist and on to P for Postal worker, S for Stonemason or Z for
Zookeeper – in many professions work is intensive, often
stressful and at times carried out under extremely hot
conditions. With the 3XDRY® textile finish, the moisture
management in workwear, protective clothing, uniforms and
corporate fashion is tangibly improved. License holders around
the work offer this “Feelgood Technology” which was developed in
Switzerland. At A+A in Düsseldorf, Schoeller Technologies AG is
displaying the latest applications for work wear and the
security sector.
When working physically hard the muscles generate warmth and
heat the body. To cool the body down, one perspires and the
sweat that remains on the body evaporates. Due to this “natural
cooling system”, the body is protected from over heating. Many
functional garments worn close to the body may take away sweat
very fast; and then the “natural human cooling system” cannot
work appropriately.

The 3XDRY® advanced moisture management system quickly
transports sweat on a large scale into the middle of the
garment’s fabric. From there it starts evaporating, creating a
comfortable cooling effect. Thus the natural cooling mechanism
of the body is supported and optimized. Sweat evaporation is
enhanced, the body cooled and the body temperature remains
stable, even during hard exercise. Over the course of a long
working day, this can really pay off.
A loss of fluid amounting to just 2% of body weight due to
perspiration means performance capacity drops by up to 20%. And
those who lose less moisture, also lose fewer vital minerals.
3XDRY® supports perspiration and provides visible and
tangible clothing comfort. Because only the interior side of the
textile absorbs moisture, perspiration marks on the outside are
practically invisible. Furthermore, textiles with the 3XDRY®
finish are water repelling and significantly less susceptible to
soiling. The versatile finishing technology is particularly well
suited to clothes worn next to the skin, such as underwear,
shirts, T-shirts and pants.
The 3XDRY® Feelgood Technology is increasingly being
discovered for the workwear sector, now that the versatile
functions have proven themselves in sports and sportswear.
3XDRY® was developed in Switzerland in accordance with the
criteria of the bluesign® standard, the worldwide most stringent
textile standard with regards to EHS criteria (Environment,
Health, Safety).
