Cavitec AG was
established 1996 by combining the activities of two very
reputable companies: Caratsch AG and Villars AG. Santex
Nonwoven was then added at the beginning of 2003. Cavitec AG
designs and delivers laminating, impregnating, coating, and
scattering of area-measured materials (technical and
textile) manufacturing of prepreg on the basis of glass
fiber, carbon fiber, synthetic fiber, and their woven
fabrics thermo fusion, heat setting, drying and finishing of
nonwovens.The group is represented in Pakistan by AHS
Textile Machinery Company. |
Cavitec product range features several machines and lines,
mostly in the fields of dry textile finishing and of coating and
laminating of technical textiles, which are sold under the brand
names: Santex, Cavitec, Sperotto Rimar and Santex Nonwovens.

Manufacturing programme includes the following plants and
machinery for
- impregnating of woven and nonwoven fabrics, paper, yarn of
natural and man made fibres and glass,
- hotmelt coating and laminating,
- powder scattering machines,
- powder coating and laminating lines,
- dot coating for fusible interlining (powder dot, paste
dot, double dot),
- nonwoven thermobonding lines,
- nonwoven drying and heat setting,
- nonwoven foam impregnating,
- spraying,
- vertical lapping of nonwoven.
Cavitec with its latest coating head, “CAVIMELT PLUS”,
featuring an add-on device which allows for the first time full
hotmelt covering of extremely fine weights.
CAVIMELT PLUS is suitable to all hotmelt coating and
laminating applications where fine accuracy and reproducibility
is needed such as automotive, medical textiles, high-tech
garmenting.
