The textile machinery
industry requires great investments in research, deep know-how,
long experience in textile, mechanic and electronic fields.
Italy is today ranked as the second largest producer of textile
machinery in the world and the technological level of its
production is considered of the highest standard even by its
competitors themselves. In 2008, the production of Italian
textile machinery amounted to 2.0 billion Euro, 79% of which
(worth 1.6 billion Euro) exported to about 130 countries. Asia
(43%) is the main export area, followed by Europe (34%), South
America (11%), Africa (7%) and North America (5%). Some of
machinery manufacturers are highlighted here for the interest of
our readers. Amina Baqai. Ed. |
SAVIO XCL automatic winder for Chinese market
Automatic winder with manual bobbing feeding and manual package
doffing, completely assembled in Shandong ISTMA Textile
Machinery, is especially suitable for the Chinese market among
other Asian markets, who request high end yarns quality, high
productivity, low energy consumption, low maintenance
requirement, and lower investment cost. All winding process
parameters are completely controlled by main PC, as well as by
single heads’ auto diagnosis monitoring.
High productivity together with yarn and packages quality
level can be obtained thanks to flexibility and intelligent
cycle, as to controlled dynamics and personalized of the roller
acceleration. Parts direct movement and suction fan with special
design allow a energetic consumption reduction.
Electronic anti ribbon device, with self-adjustment linked to
operating parameters, avoids useless accelerations and,
moreover, the effectiveness of the system is guaranteed by
Direct Drum Driving.
Working amplitudes and frequencies are set on the Inspector
Control; also active during cycle acceleration; patterns on the
package are minimized for a better use in the subsequent
processes; axial displacement can also be used for dyeing
packages.
Significant increases in winding efficiency thanks to a
reduction in down times during the end piecing/bobbin changing
cycle and cycle repetition are achieved by means of individual
motorization and control of each single function.

- Independent movement of the package yarn suction nozzle.
- Independent movement of the bobbin yarn suction nozzle.
- Independent movement of the splicer.
No kinematic motion links the three functions, so if one of
the two suction nozzles fails to hold the yarn, it must repeat
its cycle, while the other waits holding the yarn. The cycle is
completed with the splice only when both nozzles have brought
the two ends of yarn into position.
All aspects of the winding process such as yarn quality,
package quality, production quality, control of all peripheral
units and energy consumption are controlled by the computer.
The Computer has a large touch screen and printer. The data
is displayed in a descriptive and graphical form. Ethernet
interface for connection to higher level information systems.
The peripherals’ program can be updated directly on the PC
(also with remote loading). Self-diagnosis of all the electronic
functions. Signalling of the off-standard qualitative
parameters.
Spindle Monitoring System: Each winding head is equipped with
an alarm monitoring system. The operator is notified in real
time of the ongoing alarm.
Savio Macchine Tessili operates in the textile machinery
sector since 100 years, dealing with projecting, producing and
marketing yarn finishing machines ranging from wool, cotton,
linen and silk to synthetic fibers.
POLAR and ORION automatic winders, together with GEMINIS,
GEMINIS S and COSMOS two-for-one twisters allow entrepreneur to
dispose of yarn finishing complete line.
The modern open-end FLEXIROTORS 3000/Duo-Spinner rotor
spinning frame leads the spinning sector to a high innovation
product. For product range completions ESPERO VOLUFIL still
today represents the only completely integrated machine for
shrinkage and winding of HB acrylic yarns. u
