Balai Besar Tekstil is organizing the South Asia Textile Conference (SATC) on 5th August 2009 at the Hilton Hotel in Bandung, Indonesia.

In spite of global economic recession, Indonesia’s textile export market is steadily growing.  The SATC program will address how textile testing can help to improve quality, reduce rejection, and increase revenue with higher profit margins.  The conference sessions will give attendees the latest knowledge and information that is essential  to thrive in Indonesia’s export textile market, including:

• Recent developments in textile testing practices.
• Implementation of internal standard testing for quality improvement.
• Overview of economical best-practice testing options including lightfastness.
• Discussion of Biro of Indonesian Standard (BSN) and ISO standards.
