In early 2007
Saurer Components became Oerlikon Textile Components. The
Business Unit of Oerlikon Textile includes seven well
established producers of high quality textile components.
Oerlikon Textile Components announced the opening of the 1st
Oerlikon Textile Components Store in Istanbul, Turkey. The
opening ceremony held at the ITM 2009 was a tremendous
success in cooperation with Mr. Kazim Erdoğan, the
Authorized Dealer for Turkey, Oerlikon Textile Components.

On the occasion of the Oerlikon Textile press conference at
ITM 2009 Istanbul Mr. André Wissenberg, Vice President, Oerlikon
Textile Corporate Communications presented at the current market
situation of the textile machinery business and the new survey
of the fiber year 2009 from Oerlikon Textile. He also discussed
the challenges for Oerlikon Textile and the innovative solutions
for the next economic revival. The conference was followed by a
visit to Oerlikon Textile booth in hall 2.

Another interesting announcement regarding the first
franchise store of Oerlikon Textile Components generated lot of
interest from the journalists present at the press conference.
The first store was opened in collaboration with strong local
partner - Authorized Dealer Mr. Kazım Erdoğan.

employees disposal with expert advice at any time. The

generations and advantages. Previous discussions with customers
showed us the need of Spinning Mills to purchase all for the
spinning process relevant components from one source with
guaranteed availability. These requirements led us to developing
the Oerlikon Textile Components Store concept.”
