A new pioneering achievement for the SANITIZED AG laboratories, the world-leading Swiss specialists for antimicrobial treatment. After further developing its proven Sanitized® T 25-25 Silver product, the first Silver product with wash-resistant dust mite protection has been launched.

New areas of application have opened up through this effect, in particular in the market sector for bedding and home textiles, much to the delight of those with allergies. A patent application has been filed for this product and its unique technology.

Silver, whose natural antibacterial effectiveness has been known since antiquity, provides the basis for a newly developed product Sanitized® T 25-25 Silver. Through continual research and development work, Sanitized® is now able to expand the protective function of its successful silver products to dust mites.

The result is permanent protection against bacteria, including MRSA, as well as dust mites which can cause allergic reactions. By integrating this effect into the fibers, the resulting freshness is permanent and wash-resistant.

“With this world product advance, SANITIZED AG fulfills a growing need in the market for natural and lasting freshness in bedding,” explained marketing head Urs Stalder about the product innovation for which a patent application has already been filed.

Sanitized® Silver, which is already used in sportswear, also meets the “best available technology” standard in bedding and home textiles as well as demonstrates a high level of reliability.

Sanitized® Silver is neither nanotechnology nor nano-silver. It is very gentle to the skin and provides a high degree of safety for people and the environment during the treatment process as well as in use. This is underscored by the Oeko-Tex 100 (classes I to IV) and “bluesign approved” testing certificates.

Sanitized® T 25-25 Silver can be integrated into to the cloth or applied as a solution. Since the product can also be applied without a binding agent, it is suitable for delicate textiles because neither the feel nor the softness are affected.
