Spanish Textile Machinery

The Spanish textile machinery manufacturers rely on R&D and 85% of companies are developing innovative projects. Spain must take advantage of the fact that there are many Technological Centers and Universities specialized in the different textile sub-sectors, acknowledged at international level, and more and more companies seek the support of these centers for development of new equipment. Companies in the sector hold leading positions in their specialties and technical textiles and non woven represent an excellent opportunity. Main challenge for Spanish companies is specialization. The Spanish companies are nowadays not looking at mass production, but they are looking into specialties with high value. The Spanish textile machinery manufacturers are looking for the opportunity in this global world, mainly taking into consideration, adaptation, innovation, specialization, quality and flexibility, that could define the transformation process of the Spanish textile machinery sector.
