RITM: One step further in innovation
|
Today’s production
of textile and industrial yarns is a challenge requiring
flexibility, creativity and market knowledge. With 100 years
experience in yarn machinery, RITM (previously known under
the brands Verdol, ICBT and Rieter FYT) is a major player in
the field of textile machinery. RITM will present one of the
most complete ranges for textile machinery at hall E 1,
booth C50 |
Fine count processing
RITM offers the most complete range on the market of
Texturing, Twisting, Covering, Assembling, Cabling and
Rewinding.
- Twisting machines for embroidery and sewing thread
applications.
- Single and double covering machines for hosiery,
stockings, sportswear and technical yarns.
- Air covering machines for hosiery, stockings and
sportswear.
- Combined machines to twist and shrink nylon yarn through
thermal treatment.

Textile Yarn
Covering machine by RITM |
Industrial Yarns
Since the launching of the UT 50 machine, back in 2005, RITM
sets a reference for two-for-one twisting machines for
industrial yarns. During last ITMA 2007 in Munich RITM showed
the UTC 60 machine, bringing again more flexibility with the
direct cabling equipments
For Techtextil North America 2008, RITM showed a combined
process to produce twines and ropes up to 4mm in a one step high
productivity process. The UT 50 machine was connected to a
Twister Winder GS 2000 from the well-known rope machine
manufacturer SIMA, from Italy. For the ITMA ASIA and CINTE
Techtextil China shows, held in 2008 in Shanghai, a running. UT
50 was exhibited at the RITM stands. Now a 900mm spindle gauge
machine is proposed for twisting heavier yarns, which increases
the yarn count range up to 60,000dtex.
Glass Yarns
Shanghaitex will be the occasion to show off its latest
improvements in glass yarn production, such as new motorized
spindles, new motor-creels, improved doffing time, reduced chain
yarn breaks and yarn external pollution and also “Quick UNIX”
operating system.
Tire Cord: Inventing technology
With its experience built over decades and orders to be
delivered in China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Eastern and Western
Europe, USA and Brazil, RITM remains the major partner of the
tire cord manufacturers all over the world.
The open pot technology, allowing tremendous labour cost
reduction, gives direct cabling machines unrivalled ergonomic
and keeps RITM one-step ahead.
The RITM CP machines are equipped as a standard with heat
extraction system fully integrated in the machine frame allowing
reduction on air conditioning cost and consequently finished
yarn cost. With the latest technology used to optimize the Human
Machine Interface, the CP 06 is equipped with a friendly
self-explanatory touch screen, such as Chinese ones for example,
where a user can switch back to English in one touch anyway.
The CP 10 machine with its individual inverter per spindle is
definitively the best assurance of the speed stability and
twisting accuracy and, in association with the inertia wheel
concept, allows adjusting decelerating ramps in order to
optimize the yarn quality even during power failure.
Carpet Yarns
The conversion of carpet fibers is today becoming very
versatile, new yarn types are engineered and the integrated
customers or converters need flexible and performing production
equipment.
RITM has more than 30 years of experience in carpet yarns and
is major player supplying machinery in the field of twisting and
cabling for synthetic filaments and spun yarns. RITM will
present at Shanghaitex the most complete product range of
textile machinery on the carpet market namely:
CDDT 10 – Leader on
Turkish and US markets
- Basic design with main spindle motors driven by inverters.
- Reliable spindle transmission with belts, with low
maintenance cost.
- Fully suitable with new trends such as shaggy and super
shaggy.
- Lowest power consumption on the market.
CDDT 20 –
Productivity at the highest level
- Available with standard mechanical spindles and with
spindle speed monitoring, individual metering, sliding doors,
pneumatic creel (optional).
- Touch screen for an optimal flexibility.
- Wide range of take-up speed from 10m/min (direct cabling
with high twist level) up to 180m/min (twisting with low
twist).
CDDT 30 – A new
concept of “environment friendly” machine
- Fully equipped with motorized spindles.
- Integration of full air circulation thus saving air
conditioning costs.
- Spindle speed monitoring, individual metering, sliding
doors, pneumatic creel, I.R.I.S (Instant and Remote
Information Services) as a standard.
- Yarn tension on-line monitoring, pneumatic super
high-speed take-up holder, and remote access as an option.
- Plug and play with the RITM plant management system:
M.U.S.T.
Wool Touch® - Spun Yarn effect!
With Wool Touch®, RITM is boosting the Spun yarn effect in
combination with or without its famous “3 PLY” kit for new yarn
engineering.
M.U.S.T., Monitoring Unit System for Textile machinery:
Production under control
RITM will bring out its complete and comprehensive plant
management system, M.U.S.T., already installed at major carpet,
glass and T&I yarn producers.
M.U.S.T. enables an overview of process information,
production results and quality control data at all levels from
the twister and cabler to the weaving looms via the heat setting
machines.
M.U.S.T. is becoming compatible with RFID technology for tag
read/write/print tags through hand held computer traceability.
