David M Repper joined textile testing manufacturers James H
Heal & Co Ltd on 9th April 1969.
| Over the last 40
years James H. Heal & Co Ltd has been led by David Repper,
with a commitment to continuous investment in the latest
design and manufacturing technologies, David’s guidance has
enabled this British textile testing equipment manufacturer,
to become a world leader in their field. A textile
graduate from Leeds University, David has dedicated his
career to the development of “The Global Textile Testing
Industry.” Working closely with many leading retailers, test
houses and customers throughout the world many of whom join
him in celebrating this remarkable achievement.
In 1982 David took the helm as Managing Director when his
late father (Harry Repper) retired. |

David’s passion for the textile industry has been
inspirational for James H Heal & Co. Ltd. who under his
leadership and direction have developed a portfolio of world
class equipment, including fabric and colour fastness testing
instruments, Quality Assured Consumables and a dedicated Service
& Calibration Division, HEALINK, offering UKAS Calibration
throughout the world on a wide range of testing instruments.
In 1995 HEALS were awarded the prestigious Queen’s Award for
Export for their outstanding achievements in the export market a
testament to David’s foresight and success over the years.
The Management and Staff of HEALS would like to pass on their
