Strahm machines and production lines for the textile industry

Strahm Hi-Tex Systems AG is working continuously to improve performance and reliability of their machinery. The company has installed pilot lines to provide customers possibilities to experiment with new processes and new products.

The shrink dryer for open width and tubular knitted fabrics, together with dewatering, overstretching and compacting machines provides a full range of equipment for textile finishing. Numerous innovations and inventions of Strahm have continuously contributed to progress in the nonwovens and textile industry. In partnership with their customers they strive to improve the efficiency of their machines and develop new technologies. some examples are:

HiPer™ Shrink.

Shrink and relax drying of tubular textiles with HiPer™ Shrink: The HiPer™ Shrink, machine for  relax drying. Using the new developed nozzle system with blowing and suction nozzles increased drying capacity and much better shrinkage results. The Strahm HiPer™ Shrink fulfils all purposes of a modern continuous finishing line for knitted tubular fabrics:

  • Excellent residual shrinkage values.
  • Improvement of product volume.
  • Creation of fabrics with soft hand
  • Better dimensional stability.
  • Improved appearance and product flow.

Pilot installation at the Laroche  R&D center: The HiPer™ Therm:

At Laroche S.A., manufacturer of recycling machinery, opening and blending equipment as well as an airlaid web forming machine Strahm operates, in-line with the Laroche airlay, a thermobonding oven of the HiPer™ Therm series. The HiPer™ Therm at Laroche is an industrial machine and allows to extrapolate all results to machines of wider width with high accuracy.
