comber can now be combined with the semi-automatic E 17
SERVOtrolley lap transport system. All the advantages of
the E 76 fully automated comber with ROBOlap can also be
exploited in full in combination with E 17 SERVOtrolley. |
E 76 comber with ROBOlap
The E 76 comber is equipped with the unique, fully automated
ROBOlap lap changing and batt piecing system. Rieter is still
the only manufacturer of fully automated combers. 74 kg/h on the
new, fully automated E 76 comber or 72 kg/h on the E 66 comber –
these are the effective production figures of the new combers.
The increase in output has been achieved by means of C•A•P•D
500 (Computer Aided Process Development). With 500 nips/min., up
to 80 g/m batt weight, superior fiber selection and very good
machine running behavior, the combers produce top quality with
maximum economy. The ROBOlap fully automated lap changing and
piecing system on the E 76 comber remains a unique feature.

E 17 SERVOtrolley
The SERVOtrolley has been modified for the E 76 fully
automated comber. Higher lap take-off and the modified lap
guidance elements ensure precise positioning of the lap on the E
76 and guarantee fully automated batt piecing with ROBOlap.
Semi-automatic lap transport systems
E 16 / E 17 SERVOtrolley - Efficient lap transport for Rieter
combers
SERVOtrolley, the semi-automatic lap transport system,
guarantees gentle lap transport to the combers. The laps are
automatically transferred from the combing preparation machine
to the SERVOtrolley and automatically unloaded on the comber.

Moving the SERVOtrolley and transferring the tubes to the
combing preparation machine are the only manual operations
performed by personnel. In addition to ergonomic aspects,
further distinguishing features of this transport solution are
its simple operation and highly flexible layout
The combing preparation machines can be configured so that
both SERVOtrolley models (E 16 / E 17) can be loaded.
Semi-automatic and fully automated combers can thus be operated
in the same installation.
