Founded in Pordenone in 1911 as a
small workshop to manufacture textile components for the
local market, Savio Macchine Tessili is one of the leaders
in the yarn finishing machine sector ranging from wool,
cotton, linen and silk to synthetic fibres. In October
1998 Savio Macchine Tessili S.p.A. was acquired by the
Radici Group, who was already present on the textile
machinery market with the leader companies Somet and
Vamatex. In 2001 Savio became part of the ITEMA Group,
Savio Macchine Tessili brand is known for manufacturing
and marketing: automatic winders, two-for-one twisters,
electronic assembly winders, winders for continuous
bulking and shrinkage, open-end rotor spinning frames.
Savio also operates a technical assistance and spare parts
network throughout the world to ensure quick and efficient

The automatic winder that has established new reference
parameters in terms of quality, flexibility and competitiveness.
C.A.P.® (Computer Aided Package) and the control of winding
tension guarantee ultra high speed warping and weaving with high
insertion speed. The flexible knotting cycle together with
customised acceleration dynamics guarantee production
optimisation. The minimum consumption of energy, directly
controlled cylinder inverter and to the suction motor inverter,
is not to be underestimated either.
In addition, there are other particularly advantageous
features that render Orion a highly flexible machine like the
Orion E/Duo-Lot version, the self-adjusting peg, and the
interchangeability of air-splicers, water-splicers and
Twinsplicers.
GEMINIS two-for-one twisters
Reliable and economical, Geminis is a real leap forward in
quality that Savio has achieved in the field of twisting cotton,
wool, linen, silk and elasticised yarns. The new balloon
configuration and reduced contact between balloon and container,
thanks to the vertical direction of the yarn, all help to
enhance yarn quality certified by Twist Master (optional). The
optimum positioning of the twisted yarn, driving constancy,
uniform take-up speed, the homogeneity of the twists, all
contribute in modelling a package that is unique for its
resistance and compactness.
A simple, rational and flexible system that leaves plenty of
room for a wide range of models to meet the diversified
requirements of customers. Yarns with elastomer exalt the
technical characteristics, providing the best possible coverage
of the elastic core.
GEMINIS S two-for-one twisters
The two-for-one twister GEMINIS S has acquired important
slices of the market, imposing itself as a great alternative for
customers looking for reliable twisting machines with high
production capacities, qualitative and technological features
without compromises and at competitive prices. And what’s more,
GEMINIS S can process cotton and wool with Lycra yarns
perfectly.
ESPERO VOLUFIL automatic winder for continuous shrinkage
and bulking
The continuous HB acrylic yarn shrinkage and bulking system
that Savio developed at the beginning of the 80s has expanded
constantly and appreciatively, becoming an industrial
alternative to the hank system.
Espero Volufil aroused a great deal of interest thanks to its
self-diagnostics system and reliability and is now the
undisputed leader on the market.
In the HB acrylic sector, the configuration of the yarn
conveyor and control system allows the machine to be used for
treating HB acrylic yarns with elastomer that are impossible to
process on any other through-feed machine.
The universal adjustment of the distributor unit makes Espero
Volufil extremely flexible to the extent that yarns can be
processed with shrinkage ranging from 0 to 30% with minimum
interventions.

FlexiRotorS 3000® / Duo-Spinner, the rotor spinning frame of
the third millennium, represents the most advanced proposal for
the entrepreneurs of this new era.
The total electronic control of the yarn winding conditions
ensures the production of excellent “certified” packages to feed
the loom with working parameters the likes of which have never
been seen before and with a density up to 30% higher than what
can be obtained on conventional Open End machines.

hands”, all the machine working adjustments can be altered. A
