The Loptex OPTOSONIC system, features the
following technologies by means of optical sensors, it measures
the average brightness of the raw material and recognize
coloured contamination as being darker.
The Sonic sensor is able to detect white
and transparent contamination including all types of plastics.
By means of ultrasonic waves, it detects all the contamination
with major density than the cotton processed. Furthermore, since
the acoustic waves penetrate the fibre flocks, hidden
contamination are also detected. The OPTOSONIC system is able to
recognize all kinds of contaminated material such as: coloured,
transparent plastic and polypropylene which brightness is
similar to the brightness of the cotton processed.
