International Textile Machinery Exhibition INDIA ITME 2008
Stäubli booth attracted visitors
The 8th India International Textile Machinery Exhibition,
closed its doors on 22nd November 2008. Though the general
market situation was and still is not bright, visitors mainly
from India, but overseas as well, wanted to get informed about
the latest developments in textile machinery.
On the Stäubli booth customers were shown a selection on the
latest products from the Stäubli textile machinery range in
operation: cam motions and dobby machines, electronic Jacquard
machines and harnesses, and weaving preparation systems products
with leasing and tying machines. The machines on the booth were
all running and could be seen in various applications. Stäubli
Group member Schönherr carpet systems, presented its carpet
samples produced on the new ALPHA 400 carpet-weaving machine,
and new Stäubli member DEIMO presented its electronic control
solutions for mainly textile machinery.

Among the various products and applications two complete
Jacquard installations with rapier weaving machines were also
seen producing upholstery fabric on the Stäubli booth: one
installation is equipped with an LX 1602 Jacquard machine with
5120 hooks, the second weaving machine works in combination with
a Jacquard machine LX 3202 driving 12288 hooks. Weaving
preparation systems division showed its brand new course to
medium yarn range warp tying machine MAGMA T12.
