Savio Macchine Tessili is the ITEMA Group's specialist in the production of yarn finishing and spinning machinery (automatic winders, two-for-one twisters and open end rotor spinning frames). The automatic winder that has established new reference parameters in terms of quality, flexibility and competitiveness. C.A.P.® (Computer Aided Package) and the control of winding tension guarantee ultra high speed warping and weaving with high insertion speed. The flexible knotting cycle together with customised acceleration dynamics guarantee production optimisation. The minimum consumption of energy, thanks to the directly controlled cylinder inverter and to the suction motor inverter, is not to be underestimated either.

Geminis S: Two-for-one twisters
The Geminis two-for-one twisters are a true leap in quality and flexibility taken by Savio for twisting cotton, wool, linen, silk and elastomeric yarns. The completely new balloon configuration and reduced contact between the balloon and the holder thanks to the vertical route of the yarn, all contribute to an even better quality yarn certified by the Twist Master.

Espero Volufil
The continuous HB acrylic yarn shrinkage and bulking system that savio developed at the beginning of the 80s has expanded constantly and appreciatively, becoming an industrial alternative to the hank system. Espero Volufil aroused a great deal of interest thanks to its self-diagnostic system and reliability and is now the undisputed leader on the market.

FlexiRotorS 3000/Duo spinning machine

Savio exhibited its FlexiRotorS 3000 and the ORION E automatic winder at ITM 2004. FlexiRotorS 3000/Duo machine offers following advantages:
· independent machine fronts (two machines in one) in terms of rotor speeds, combing roller speeds, twist values, drafting values, take up;
· total electronic control of spinning parameters which are settable by way of the main machine PC keyboard (hands free settings);
· electronic package building, by way of an automated thread-guide movement, which customises the final package according to the various down-stream processes and requests, in terms of the cross-winding angle, modulation, density, traverse stroke, traverse centring on the tube, axial displacement value;
· the high density packages which can even reach 12 lbs on coarse counts with a 320 mm diameter;
· 1, 2 or 4 patrolling trolleys per machine.
· And in addition to the above a “state of the art spinning box” that reaches a rotor speed of 150,000 rpm, with 250 m/min delivery speed.
