Arioli
Quality and excellence
in the finishing of fabrics

Arioli S.p.A, is one of the leaders in the manufacturing of steaming plants, open width washing machines , conveyor dryers and loop dryers for more than 50 years. More than 2000 machines installed in more than 130 Countries are the testimony of its success.

Steam ager type Vapo 2003

New high technology steam agers
Arioli offers open width high content steam agers, Mini vapo , two phases steamers, flash agers, laboratory steamers and steam agers for digital printing.
The new steam ager type Vapo 2003 is reported to improve the speed with the new fabric movement inside chamber. Arioli offers latest steam-ager, Vapo 2003, which operates at speeds of up to 80 m/min. The innovative loop formation device and exclusive steam injection system offers versatile and flexible operation.
Open width washig machines
A new Arioli Uniwash washer, with a patented Aqua Jet system that features four water blades delivers a uniform sheet of water to the face of the goods, while removing the water from the back via a perforation drum.
It is claimed that one million liters of water per hour are delivered gently to the fabric. The power and the impact of the water which is flowed by 4 water blades ( two on the upper face and two on the back side) at low pressure grant the maximum delicacy and at the same time maximum washing efficiency for every application on every fabric: desizing, scouring, bleaching, washing after dyeing and washing after printing , impregnation and chemical treatment on woven fabrics, wool fabrics, elastic fabric, circular knits (opened), rectilinear knits, raschell fabric and non- wovens .
High performance dryers
The loops drying machines (for soft fabric) and conveyor drying plants (universal) realised by Arioli have been studied to give the maximum productivity by combining the real drying capability to the productive times required by the whole finishing line.
· new fabric passage system that increases its content by stepping up the productivity and the final result.
· high capability of using the installed calories.
· air flow system with high drying performance.
· "easy maintenance" system to reduce the time of maintenance.
The innovations in 2003 include:
· a special plant consisting of 7 tanks for the scouring of elastic fabrics
· a large width line composed of an steamer after printing and a washing after dyeing of cotton fabrics (more than 3000 mm)
· a line composed of a washing plant and a free loops dryer for cotton fabrics (for blouses and shirts).
Minivapo
Minivapo is the Arioli steamer made, in its basic version, for a fabric content of 80 m, with a variable width from 1800 to 3600 mm.
Minivapo is equipped with a particular loop formation device excluding any direct contact with the printed face of the fabric. With such a system, the most delicate discharge prints and colouring overlapping may be safely treated without risking rubbing or marking.
A particular steam injection system with recirculating fans and humidifiers assures a constant humidity rate when working with saturated steam.
The installation of a steam superheater with a diesel oil or a gas burner to work at a high temperature up to 180°C is foreseen on Minivapo. Alternatively, a thermo oil battery may be installed to be able to work with superheated steam or hot air.
In such a way, Minivapo may be used to fix pigment prints or resins polymerizing in hot air at temperatures up to 160°C.
Control valves are foreseen to meter the steam quantity according to the fabrics weight and heat requirement.
Also the possibility to install an electronic control to monitor the working speed, the loop length and the fabric stay time in the chamber is foreseen by our engineers.
Minivapo is fitted with a PLC to completely automate the working processes.
Mini2F two phase
Mini2F two phase is the Arioli steamer made on purpose for the fixation of reactives and indanthrene without urea. In order to have a more satisfactory technical result and a higher productivity at lower costs, Arioli has developed a new version of Minivapo, equipped with a convenient mangle.
The system allows to steam reactives on cotton and viscose on short loops for knitted and woven fabrics with the well known 2 phase process.
The short loop formation allows to increase dwelling time up to 120 sec. always with a production rate of 30-50 m/min. A relatively long dwelling time also allows to reduce the concentration of silicates or alkali in the mangle.
The colour performance is better than the one obtainable with the traditional Flash Ager, and the colour uniformity is perfect both on cotton and on viscose.
Knitted fabrics can also be treated: wet on wet treatment helps dye diffusion inside the fabrics, reducing white fibre appearance when knitted fabrics are stretched. The same device may be used for vat dyes as well.
The machine may also be used as a standard steam ager for fixation in saturated and superheated steam, and for polymerisation of pigments with standard long loop treatment.
Flash ager is a steamer
Flash Ager is a steamer for two phase printing with a limited fabric content for a short dwelling time.
In this case, the "bath ratio" is quite high, in order to allow the fixation in a very short time with an excellent penetration and tone uniformity in the fabric.
Though operating with high humidity, printing contours do not migrate because the fabric is uniformly wet both on its face and on its back, thus preventing any migration by capillarity.
The perfect colour fixation is obtained with a perfectly distributed steam at a constant temperature in the steaming chamber.
The constructive structure of Arioli Flash Ager, with side cavity walls and outer superheater, fulfils these requirements.
The upside down steam circulation with a uniform and continous motion prevents air inlet and assures a constant exhaust of the gases developed by the colouring and the chemicals used for the fixation, thus avoiding dangerous gas concentration in the treatment steam.
FO2 pad mangle
The plant is completed by a chemical pad mangle composed by two FO2 type horizontal cylinders, designed on purpose for two phase treatments.
A chrome plated cylinder works on the face of the fabric, while a viscoelastic rubber cylinder works on the back. Special pneumatically actuated pistons assure a regular and uniform squeezing.
A double impregnating tank allows the application of chemicals by nipping or dipping under the rubber cylinder.
The liquor may alternatively be applied on the printed side using the chrome plated roller. Two cleaning doctor blades in special material are installed to keep the chrome plated roller and the rubber one clean.
Indanthrene dyes fixation
The absence of air in the steam and the installation of the pad mangle right under the steaming chamber makes our machine ideal for fixation on cotton and viscose.
The dwelling time of about 30 seconds at a temperature of 130°C allows the production of about 1500 m/h of fabric with the 12 m capacity machine.
Reactive dyes fixation
Reactive dyes fixation with two phase process is particularly important for viscose and cotton prints, because such process does not need urea.

The new steam ager type Vapo 2003

The fixation requires about 15 seconds at 130°C using silicate or carbonate in the pad mangle. The liquor may be applied on the printed side using the chrome plated roller, and the production rate obtainable with a 12m machine content is about 3000 m/h.
The special external heating system and the continuous steam flow downwards makes infrared heaters unnecessary for preheating fabric, ensuring a more economic and practical process.
