roller or blade squeegees, as well as a combination
of both. Further innovations include options Print@Change,
which makes it possible to remove a previous design while
already printing the next one, and Print@Wash, which allows
cleaning of screens and squeegees while production continues
unaffected.
HSC 103 Hotmelt screen coating unit
The Stork HSC 103 hotmelt screen coating unit enables
the production of many different types of high quality
laminates. It is ideal for everything from functional
clothing to laminated automotive parts and medical textiles.
The HSC 103 is based around rotary screen technology
and offers many benefits when compared to conventional
laminating processes. Very sensitive permeable membranes
can be treated and there is high application uniformity.
Special heat-resistant screens can withstand temperatures
up to 250°C. Laminated materials can remain breathable
after bonding and the bond itself is stronger because
it has both a chemical and mechanical component. Changing
screens is a simple operation that is completed in a couple
of minutes. Emptying and cleaning the screen is also extremely
straightforward and the entire line, including the melting
equipment, is controlled using a touch screen for extra
convenience and efficiency.
BestIMAGE software
The latest release of bestIMAGE software will be demonstrated
on their booth for interested parties. Stork textile software
solutions offer design, repeating, colour separation,
stepping and trapping, colouring, texture mapping as well
as simulation, calibration of colours and raster graphs
in one integrated but modular software package.
