55,555th Mayer’s circular knitting machine delivered to India
Warrior Clothing Co. takes delivery of several Relanit 3.2 II machines

Warrior Clothing Co. in Tirupur was founded in 1993 and is one of a highly successful circular knitting factory.

As part of a modified corporate strategy targeted towards consistently high quality not just in its cotton production but also in synthetics – also combined with elastomers – Warrior Clothing decided to opt for its first Mayer & Cie. circular knitting machine back in 1999, and today operates a total of no fewer than ten.

The last consignment of several machines to the company included one bearing the serial number 55,555 – this happened to be a Relanit 3.2 II, a machine characterized by its impressive versatility plus high output. Tailor-made

to process the latest yarn types, this Relanit technology-based machine with its careful yarn handling and special settings in the yarn run-off represents the ideal single jersey machine both for cotton and synthetic yarns, coupled with high-volume output.

For Warrior Clothing Co.'s Managing Partner Mr. Manohar, machine productivity and reliability, but first and foremost outstanding fabric quality were the motivating factors for his decision to opt for Mayer & Cie. in general and for the Relanit 3.2 II in particular. Mr. Manohar visited the Mayer & Cie. stand at the IMTA 2003 in Birmingham, and then travelled to the company headquarters in Albstadt in Southern Germany.

Mr. Manohar was equally impressed by the headlong technical developments and the associated "Future in Knitting" presentation at the show and by the high standard of production quality he was able to witness in Albstadt. Warrior Clothing Co. is currently planning to further extend its machine outfit with more Mayer & Cie. circular knitting machines, and intends to also include electronic jacquard models in the future.

The company is also full of praise for the after-sales service and on-going support it has received both from Mayer & Cie. and from its representative in India, Batliboi Ltd..

Mr. Manohar was eager to express his appreciation both of the welcome and the support he received at the trade fair and during his visit to Mayer & Cie. in Albstadt, and in general for the positive cooperative links between the two companies. He was particularly gratified that the 55,555th Mayer & Cie. circular machine should be operating in his factory.

not only one of the most high-performance single jersey knitting machines ever produced - it is also accepted among experts as one of the best solutions available for lycra plating.

As versatile as fashion. High performance in quantities
Single and 4-needle structures as well as plated single jersey fabrics - tailor-made for modern yarns.

Today, fashion is influenced more by yarns than by structures. Synthetic yarns - also in combination with elastomer - are increasingly in vogue. The Relanit 3.2 ll has been designed with this in mind.

Thanks to special machine settings - especially in the yarn run-off - it is ideal for processing both cotton and synthetic yarns, whilst still maintaining its renowned high level of performance from the point of view of quantity.

Naturally, the Relanit 3.2 ll has all the advantages of the superior Relanit technology from Mayer & Cie., proven a thousand times over: more versatility, simplest handling, reduced strain on the yarn - all guarantee fewer faults in the knitted fabric, minimised down times, and thus maximum productivity at considerably reduced costs.
