Rastgar takes yet another initiative in introducing the technology of 2004 to the oil, gas and power industries of Pakistan. The Chief Executive of Rastgar Oil & Gas Division, Mr. Momin Arif says, "The bolt and nut is taken too lightly by our industry. If it had not been for the bolt, and the nut to go on it, there would be no industry today. Research has proved that 'Industry loses most of the Productivity in Bolting than in many other maintenance tasks'. The HYTORC bolting system saves the unbolting and bolting process time by up to half; and for new installations by as much as 70%.

Not just that, the HYTORC guarantees simultaneous and parallel bolting for a flange - regardless of its size, eliminating the chance of a damaged seal or a leaking flange to almost zero. They claim that no other bolting system in the world today matches the HYTORC, which combines torque and tension in one tool.

In the process, the Hytorc makes possible complete hands free opening and tightening of bolts to within 3-5 % of the recommended torque values - virtually eliminating the use of the 12-pound hammer and the resultant damage and exposure to very serious injury
Mr. Bob Boychuk, General Manager HYTORC, visited Pakistan for the launch of their Bolting Machines. Mr. Boychuk and Mr. Arif had set up a practical demonstration of the Hytorc System at the POGEE Exhibition at Expo Center, Karachi 17-20 March 2004.

Mr. Boychuk says, "It is important for the maintenance and the production engineers to see the demonstration; and it is more important for the top management and finance to also see it if they are to really appreciate how much revenue is generated thanks to the HYTORC Bolting System, by increasing productivity due to reduced bolting and unbolting major assemblies. The HYTORC virtually eliminates damaged flange seals and thus repeating the whole maintenance procedure".
