RotoSwing Tumble & Relax Dryer
The RotoSwing is ideal for tumbler-resistant goods with residual
shrinkage values that usually lie between 0 and less than 5
%, depending on the fabric construction and the respective pre-treatment.
It is now possible to wash and dry knitwear in household washing
machines and electric dryers, to maintain their dimensional
stability and avoid shrinkage of the garments.
RT Thermosol Unit of the Third Generation
RT stands for Rational Thermosoling and the fabric is usually
supplied from a pile or a batch. The intake is designed such
that a continuous change of batches is possible without having
to stop the machine. For dyestuff application padders of renowned
suppliers are used. A moisture measuring system constantly measures
the liquor application across the width (left, right and center)
and together with the computer control system of the padder
supplier controls the liquor application. This ensures uniform
dyeing and good reproducibility.
· Extremely short heating-up periods of about 1 to 1.5
seconds owing to the perforated drum principle.
· This results in greatly reduced heat setting periods
for the dyestuff of only about 30 seconds for medium dye shades
and about 40 seconds for dark shades.
· High temperature uniformity across the entire working
width: only +/- 1.5°C for a temperature of 230°C.
Advantages of the RT Unit:
The HT-SteamSet
In the knitwear industry more and more Spandex fibers (like
e.g. Lycra) is used to achieve higher elasticity of certain
goods. The use of such elasthan fibers causes the fabric edge
to roll up even more than pure cotton after cutting it open.
In addition there is the negative effect of the elasthan thread
withdrawing from the cut edge both after cutting open the tube
and when cutting the fabric before making-up so that the fabric
near the cutting edge cannot be utilized. Preliminary heatsetting
of the raw material prevents the elasthan thread from withdrawing
and offers additional advantages for finishing, namely:
· better evenness during dyeing
· reduced pilling tendency during dyeing
· reduced dyestuff consumption
· reduced crease formation during bleaching and dyeing
· the "twisting effect" of elasthan-containing
fabric due to imminent curling is eliminated
· no markings of spreaders.

Multiflow® single-rope Dyeing Machine
MCS Group comprises MCS, Termoelettronica S.p.A. and dyehouses
Europea and Europizzi.
The Multiflow® single-rope, jet-dye machine allows movement
of a single rope from chamber to chamber. In a three-chamber
machine, goods loaded into port 1 move to the bottom of chamber
3, then into chamber 2 and back to chamber 1.
Due to its innovative technology, dye cycles for reactive dyeing
on 100% cotton have been reported to be shortened to less than
four hours.
At ITMA 2003 in Birmingham, MCS exhibited EcoTurbo for processing
difficult technical textiles.
TERMOdye vacuum dosing system
The Termoelettronica offers TERMOdye vacuum dosing system for
dispensing and dissolving dyes, featuring the TERMOpowder R/L
weighing system. Scale development has allowed vendors to claim
incredible accuracy (± 0.01 gram). However, with small
dosing and use of powder dyes, dye often is lost to the air
during transfer. The enclosed TERMOdye vacuum system ensures
complete transfer of all dosed dyes.

Synchrowash MACHINE
Synchrowash is patented new technology for a washing process
that brings about important savings in water consumption and
energy usage - while also reducing cycle times during dyeing
operations. This is particularly effective when reactive or
VAT dyestuffs are used.
The hydraulic design of the Synchrowash machine, allows the
fitting of a specially designed heat recovery unit onto the
washing line.
The heat is then recycled and applied to the incoming water
- thereby dramatically cutting down energy costs. Two main innovations
are mainly responsible for this:
· The maximization of the pollutant difference of concentration.
Synchrowash is designed to always provide the maximum washing
efficiency. It does this by concentrating the pollutants as
much as possible in the drain liquor.
· The energy recovery from the washing and rinsing liquors.
Markets demands concerning dimensional stability, aspect, touch
and volume of the fabric impelled manufacturers of fabric finishing
equipments to do their best in order to comply with these requirements.
