AMTEX (Spanish
Textile Machinery Manufacturers Association) is a
professional non-profit organization that groups together
the Spanish Manufacturers of Textile and Garment-making
machinery, recognized on a national and international
scale as the most representative association of this
industry in Spain. Spain has a textile machinery industry
of quite a respectable size and fairly high quality
standards which have been continually improving. AMEC
AMTEX is constantly on international markets through its
presence at Trade Fairs and other promotional activities,
providing an answer to the technical and commercial
demands in more than seventy countries. |

From 15th to 22nd November 2008, ITME
India will be held in Bangalore and the Spanish companies
will be presenting the latest technologies in the
following sub sectors: spinning, knitting, weaving, non
woven and technical textiles, dyeing and finishing, and
software. |

One of the leading companies in the fields of manufacturing
machinery for the textile industry. Electrojet shall highlight:

automatic transport systems of bobbins, cones and cans, and the
automatic palletizing systems.
Galan Textile Machinery
Their activity is mainly focused in supply twisting and
winding solutions for the production of yarns used in the rope
and twine manufacturing for agricultural, industrial, sports
(climbing and nautical), as well as fishing nets, artificial
grass, carpets and rugs, fire-hoses, sewing threads, geotxtiles,
transportation bands and many other applications.

Jaume Anglada Vinas, S.A
Jaume Anglada Vinas is presenting the TURBANG-TSR-N which is
the 6th generation of their well-known tumblers. It
incorporates improvements brought about by new technologies and
long experience in this particular field. Much higher drying
performance and very improved quality and price performance
ratio is one of the important aspect for the selection criteria
by their customers.
Masias Maquinaria
This company will present the Direct Feeding System SAD MF
connected to a Multi-needle Quilting Machine MAMMUT. The Direct
Feeding System SAD MF is a machine designed to feed directly
micro-fibres or standard polyester fibres from bales to any
multineedle quilting machine, with a perfect synchronization and
enabling the formation of a regular and controlled pad.
Talleres Ratera
A company specialized in the production of braiding machines
and its accessories. As a world novelty Ratera will present
their braiding machine of 12 carriers and Gauge 432, equipped
with bobbins of Ø 250x650 mm and a capacity of 30.065 cm3. High
speed braider (50 rpm) able to braid ropes up to Ø 70 mm.
Main challenge for Spanish companies is specialization. The
Spanish companies are looking not at mass production, they are
looking at specialties with high value, and this is their main
point, not mass production.
The Spanish textile machinery manufacturers are looking for
their own opportunity in this global world, mainly taking into
consideration: Adaptation, innovation, specialization, quality
and flexibility, that could define the transformation process of
the Spanish textile machinery sector.
