|
Jakob Müller AG is the world leader in
technology for the manufacture of woven and knitted tapes
and webbing, woven labels and technical textiles, and
dyeing, make-up and winding machinery. The Müller supply
programme covers all the needs of the ribbons and narrow
fabrics industry from individual yarns up to the finished,
made-up product and the company will display its machines at
hall 2-UL, stand A-108 at ITME INDIA in Bangalore. This
picture shows Jakob Müller (India) Private Ltd - Indian
headquarters in Bangalore. |
 |
Jakob Müller in IndiaFirst activities of Jakob Müller
date back to 1971. In 1994 Müller opened its own production
sales and service organization in Bangalore. VARITEX needle
looms manufactured by Jakob Müller (India) Private Ltd. are
sold to the domestic market and exported to all Müller
markets worldwide. |
Narrow fabric weaving systems NFJK2 53 6/42
Narrow fabric loom with 384 functions for computerized
patterned ribbons, trimmings and decorative elastic and
non-elastic articles. The NFJK2 is microprocessor-controlled
Jacquard machine, type SPE2 768. This development embodies the
perfect implementation of EDP into Jacquard technology and its
control with the use of micro-electronics. It represents the
optimum in performance, operating safety and
operator-friendliness.

NFJK2 53– Narrow fabric loom for elastic
and non-elastic tapes and medium-weight webbing |
VARITEX V5Ni 2/65H
Narrow fabric needle loom with two spaces for medium to heavy
weight belts and tapes. A low-maintenance machine thanks to its
sturdy construction and minimal electronic fittings, simple to
operate and easy to access. A machine concept that is proved
itself over many years and in all world markets with a
professional after-sales service.
VARITEX V5MJ 192 6/50
Narrow fabric needle loom with 6 spaces for computerized
patterned ribbons, trimmings and decorative elastic and
non-elastic articles with electronically controlled double-lift
Jacquard machine J192 with bottom shed reading and normal shed,
fitted directly on the machine. Easy to operate thanks to its
solid and simple design.
HW-A - semi-automatic length measuring and winding machine
Semi-automatic length measuring and winding machine for
non-elastic ribbons and medium to heavyweight belts. The machine
is designed as a user-friendly make-up machine for the winding
ribbons and belts into rolls with or without cardboard centres.
The machine is of extremely robust design and thus requires
minimum maintenance.
Warp crochet knitting systems
MDK80 – the new electronically controlled raschel
machine
The MDK80 shown first time in India represents a completely
new single and double needle bar raschel machine design with up
to eight warp beams, each of which is individually powered by a
linear motor. The the machine offers a broad diversity of
applications and is suitable for everything from fashion and
sports items to technical articles.

raschel machine for fashion and technical textiles. |
High-precision warp beam operation and quick and easy changes
of gauge between E10 and E22 ensure short resetting times and
maximum advantages. Furthermore, the electronic control of the
entire machine facilitates the management of all article data
and the accessing of the appropriate production parameters.
MDR2 42 – with a new picot system and weft thread
transport
The MDR2 42, which is equipped with up to 24 weft bars driven
individually by linear motors, is now also available with a
picot system and electronic thread transport.
These additional options offer an increased range of product
design possibilities, as well as greater knit quality
consistency. Furthermore, the redesign of the drive section
allows optimal access to the processing part of the machine.

articles. |
RD3 3/630 – warp knitting machine for elastic and
non-elastic articles
Versatile and easy to operate high speed warp knitting
machine with chain drum control. Machine models available with
maximum 8 weft bars and useful width of 630 or 420 mm.
|
 |

knitting machine with up to 8 weft bars. |
Label weaving systems
MDLA 115 -Air-jet loom for Jacquard labels
MDLA 115 is
harness-free, air-jet loom for Jacquard pattern labels with cut
edges – shown the first time in India. The MDLA 115 is the
world’s first harness-free, air-jet loom for high-quality,
Jacquard patterned labels with cut edges. The new process with
direct, individual warp thread control (global patent
registered) replaces Jacquard machines, harnesses with comber
boards and retracting springs. This allows simple access to the
weft, auxiliary and warp fibres from the front and above. Weft
insertion (up to eight colours) tales place via the patented
3-pressure system, which in combination with the yarn table,
facilitates the production of an extensive range of yarn
qualities at the highest insertion speeds.

Individual warp thread control means that the production of
lables with individual numbering (MÜNUMBERMASTER) and bar codes
(MÜBARCODE, visible or invisible) numbers among the most
important applications of the MDLA.
TVT2 - Cutting system for labels
The TVT 2 is a cutting system for labels with still smoother
selvedges will be shown the first time in India. The TVT2 is a
further development that newly incorporates the weave and
density differences of the fabric into the cutting process.

velvety edges. |
|
|
|
This
takes place via the control of the temperature of the
cutting wire, the ideal cutting temperature being preset
on the basis of textile parameters. In addition,
operations and resetting following a change of label have
been greatly simplified through the integration of the
electrical feed of the cutting element into the blade
beam. TVT2 knives can be retrofitted into the majority of
existing rapier and air jet looms.
LCFR2 – Label cutting and folding
rotary machine
Versatile technology for automatically
cutting, folding and piling of labels with cut or woven
edges. System with following cutting and folding options:
End folding, Manhattan folding, Center folding, Booklet
folding plus cutting without folding. |

Institute of Narrow Fabrics - The “flying classroom”
New learning in
the attendee’s mother tongue and without having to travel
far to acquire it. This is the offer that Jakob Müller AG
makes its customers with the “flying classroom”.
The aim of this
new educational institution is to communicate a solid
knowledge of textile technology in areas such as “woven
narrow fabrics design” and “knitted narrow fabrics design
(crochet techniques)”.
Courses normally
last one week and are held in specially rented
accommodation at a location that can be reached easily by
the attendees and where suitable infrastructure is
available.
