Zschimmer & Schwarz: Spin finishes for all kinds of fibres

The fibre auxiliaries division of Zschimmer & Schwarz is supplying spin finishes for all kinds of fibres produced in the Man-Made-Fibre industry.

The filament spin finishes includes products for technical, textile and carpet yarn production made from polyolefins, polyester and polyamide.

The staple fibre products include spin finishes as well as lubricants for the hygiene area, filter and needle punch articles in any denier range for the same polymers.

The Fibre Auxiliaries Division is continuously updating the above mentioned product range of spin finishes and lubricants. The modernization of the pilot plants allows this division to meet the increased requirements from the market of filament and staple fibre production.

On the ITMA Asia + CITME 2008, the company will focus on the promotion of new spin finishes for the manufacturing of PET technical yarn in neat oil as well as emulsion application.

Especially in the emulsion application the products are optimized for the HMLS process in close cooperation with machine producers and customers also for rubber coated articles. In the staple fibre group, they have developed a new product for the spun lace process which optimizes the production of PET filter materials.

Also this product could be realized using the pilot plant for spunbond applications and cooperation with fibre institutes.
