   German Review

Mayer & Cie presents machinery as versatile as fashion

Single and 4-needle structures as well as plated single jersey fabrics - tailor-made for modern yarns are now in fashion. Today, fashion is influenced more by yarns than by structures. Synthetic yarns - also in combination with elastomer - are increasingly in vogue. The Relanit 3.2 ll has been designed with this in mind. Thanks to special machine settings - especially in the yarn run-off - it is ideal for processing both cotton and synthetic yarns, whilst still maintaining its renowned high level of performance from the point of view of quantity. With a High-Speed-Kit (option) for single jersey with elastomer full plating, one can reach speeds of up to 45 rpm in continuous operation. And that's a world record!

Fashion stripes and basics!

S4-3.2 R - fashionable stripes and high performance for basic fabrics with a single machine. The S4-3.2 R knits fashionable striped fabrics with up to 6 colours across 1.6 feeders/inch. BASICLine Stripe is also equipped with the well proven MCT striper technology. The clever mechanical operation sequence is absolutely reliable, with minimum maintenance requirements. Ideal conditions for modern striped fabrics in top quality and high productivity. What is new here is a previously unheard flexibility: the striper non-knit feeders can simply be replaced with knitting feeders, immediately giving you 3.2 feeders/inch for basic single jersey fabrics. A machine for fashionable striped fabrics and for high performance single jersey output without stripes, in 2 or 4 needle structures and plated single jersey! Up to 4 needle types for each of 3 needle positions give you even greater room for manoeuvre.

D4 3.2: Now even higher performance with higher number of feeders

Higher performance and improved quality give you a competitive edge! The D4-3.2 is ideal for producing high volumes of all patterned knits and Interlock: double face, Punto di Roma, Milano Rib and many other constructions. The standard machine is equipped with 2 types of needles and 2 needle tracks. However, it is designed to take 2 needle tracks in dial and up to 4 needle tracks in cylinder. Flexibility can be increased significantly with extension up to 4 needle tracks. Just knit what the market demands! The high feeder number of 3.2 feeders per inch and a speed of 1.4 m/s (which is 35 rpm with 30") bring you extremely profitable performance.

The benchmark for electronic jacquard production - simply fast and versatile

From structures to colour and tuck jacquard – precise and economical - the OVJA 2.4 E knits all known structures including relief patterns – in brief, whatever is in vogue. And the electronic individual needle selection in the cylinder permits any pattern to be simply transferred to the machine in a matter of seconds. In conjunction with dial cam setting in 3 positions, the OVJA 2.4 E offers simple handling, fast resetting and highly productivity with 2.4 feeders per inch diameter. Knitting what the market demands – simply, quickly, reliably and with maximum profit – the OVJA 2.4 E sets the standard.
