Knotex presents the first tying machine with a four-in-one unit for all tying methods that is equipped with a doubles indicator for tying warps both with and without a lease. Whereas the doubles control when tying warps from a lease has been standard equipment at Knotex for many years, this new development is for warps without a lease. The prerequisites for detection are high-precision pressure sensors. They measure the thread tension during tying up to 10 times a second (attached picture 1 shows the heart of the new double end control, the pressure sensor).

With this innovation from Knotex the warp tying machine detects automatically whether the warp to by tied-in has a lease or not and thus starts the optimum doubles control program for the application in hand.

BASIC S (S like speed) is the new warp tying machine especially for weaving machines which process exclusively monocolored warps of cotton, wool, linen or blends. The machine is already pre-set to optimally suit these warp qualities. This means that the full performance of up to 600 knots/min is available right from the word go. The typical Knotex reliability and the extremely short tying times are excellent arguments in favor of the new Knotex BASIC S.

This new development is suitable for virtually all types of Knotex warp tying machines. The reliable detector will stop the machine if it finds a broken thread or if one thread is missing after the tying-in cycle. This Knotex invention ensures the elimination of imperfectly knotted warps.
