Groz-Beckert presents global trends and future proof ingenuity

Groz-Beckert will be showcasing innovative variety in textile production at Hall E4, booth B 01 at ITMA Asia and CITME 2008. A broad range of precision parts, systems and services are available for a large number of requirements. Whether it's knitting, weaving, felting, tufting or sewing, Groz-Beckert will be presenting its product sectors at a joint booth and visitors can expect global trends and future proof ingenuity in Hall E4, Booth B01.

Knitting

As a systems supplier for loop forming, Groz-Beckert shows how innovative needle technologies increase processing safety and economic efficiency.

A special highlight here is the presentation of a complete knitting head for circular knitting machines, which opens up a high degree of standardization in today's growth markets. Visitors can also discover how efficiency potential results from strategic lubricant analysis and also how component and needle handling can be further optimized.

An example: the patented litespeed® needle for circular knitting machines which is distinctive for its outstanding lubrication behaviour.

Weaving

GROB presents high-performance healds and heald frames that enable new dimensions in productivity to be attained. Solutions for special applications and for leno weaving also play a central role. An example: the positively controlled leno device for riderless heald frames, enabling production speed to be doubled.

Felting

The highlight here: Felting and structuring needles which set new standards with regard to quality and processing safety, thanks to strategic synergies from nonwovens and needling. For long-term cost savings Groz-Beckert offers a new service for water analysis and a cleaning installation for HyTec®  jet strips, to achieve noticeably longer operating times.

Tufting

With regard to gauge parts, new ideas and progressive concepts for optimization of the entire value-added chain are being presented.

An example: Level Cut Loop Loopers (LCL) for production of carpets with snarl and velour composition, whereby individual loopers can be individually controlled.

Sewing

Groz-Beckert demonstrates how hardly sewable materials can be processed without a problem and how maximum service life can be achieved at the same time. The portfolio includes the most varied products for making up even the finest materials as well as for leather processing. Moreover, it becomes clear how theoretically based systems competence translates into practical reality in the form of maximally shortened set-up times.

An example: GEBESWITCH®, the innovative needle holder for full flexibility accompanied by sharply reduced downtimes.

With its new trade-fair presentation Groz-Beckert is once again proving the unchangingly high value of the Asian markets. With their enormous growth potential, these markets promise far-reaching impetus and opportunities, also in the future.

On the way from the individual tool to comprehensive solutions and systems, Groz-Beckert will thus be further expanding its distribution and service activities. Parallel to this, the product portfolio will be constantly enhanced by innovations. "Today's dreams can be tomorrow's products.“ This is the motto that will be accompanying Groz-Beckert's communication at the ITMA Asia too. Guaranteeing this claim and helping to shape the future of textiles – that is the objective of Groz-Beckert, worldwide partner of the textile and mechanical engineering industries.
