Gold medal for Neowin print binder

Neowin Chemicals have been given an early Olymic Gold Medal by virtue that their binder and thickner were selected to be used to print the official Olympic towel range.

The giant printing company Sunvim in China selected the Neowin binder because of its high fastness properties and low formadehyde content, meeting the strict Oekotex 100 baby class standard.

The binder was selected for its exeptional soft handle unlike traditional binders which leave a stiffer handle. The handle of the Neowin binder is comparable to a dye printed fabric. Even dark shades produced with the binder give a soft handle.

The fastness is also better than with traditional binders. There is a wide range of towels in different sizes being produced for each sport with different images in a variety of colours and mascots.

Neowin have developed a special range of chemicals for the print industry and also are developing chemicals for Foam Finishing which has the benefit of using less energy for drying and fixation

Neowin will exhibit their chemicals and Foam Finishing products including a Foam generator and other developments at ITMA Asia in Shanghai in July at Hall 2 Stand A19.
