Dornier presents innovative
technologies in weaving and finishing machinery ranges
The year 2007 was yet again successful for Lindauer Dornier
GmbH, the worldwide renowned producer of air-jet and rapier
weaving machines and special machinery. During the leading
international trade fair “ITMA 2007” in Munich, the Lindauer
Dornier GmbH presented 9 different weaving machines featuring
important advances for the weaving machinery market in the
areas of energy and resource savings. The new booth concept
“Fabrics in Mind” involving final textile product
orientation shows Dornier as a partner to find solutions for
textile challenges through the perfected sophistication of the
product family of rapier and air-jet weaving machines. To meet
the upcoming tasks highly innovative technologies in Dornier´s
weaving and finishing machine product ranges will be exhibited
at ITMA ASIA + CITME 2008.
After
the remarkable ITMA 2007 held in Munich, which exceeded all
expectations, the textile industry is looking forward eagerly to
the ITMA Asia + CITME 2008 textile machinery trade show taking
place in Shanghai at the end of July 2008.
Lindauer Dornier GmbH will participate with
two attractive stands representing the company’s product groups
“weaving” and “finishing” machinery.
In total five Dornier weaving machines can
be seen at the show. Three machines, which are all highly
relevant to the Asian market, will be displayed on the Dornier
stand A18 in hall E5, focussing on the application areas home
textiles, technical textiles and garments.
A Dornier rapier weaving machine type PS
will demonstrate its outstanding sturdiness and high reed
beat-up force essential for weaving an extremely dense filter
fabric utilizing 16 heald frames.
State
of the art, high quality suiting fabric production will be
performed on a Dornier air-jet weaving machine type AS
processing extremely delicate worsted yarn at an insertion rate
of 1500 meters per minute.
The other rapier weaving machine type PX on
the Dornier stand has Jacquard shedding and is tailor made for
the Asian upholstery market. The commonly used nominal width of
190 cm and 8 weft colours in combination with the unsurpassed
high flexibility of Dornier´s positive controlled center
transfer make it a highly cost-efficient and versatile machine
for the production of home textiles and garments.
A further Dornier air-jet weaving machine,
nominal width 220 cm, dressed with a fashionable car seat
fabric, will be installed on the STAUBLI stand A13
in hall E5. Company VAN DE WIELE, stand C02 in
hall E6, will combine its BONAS Jacquard machine
with a Dornier rapier weaving machine provided for 16 weft
colours to weave a highly demanding upholstery and tapestry
fabric with on-the-fly pattern change.
The Dornier finishing machinery division
will be represented in Hall E1 A32 displaying the latest
singeing machine type EcoSinge® for the first time in Asia, with
its indispensable heart, the well proven patented Dornier
circular expander. With this machine, an intensive and optimum
singeing effect can be reached for tube diameters from 250 mm up
to a maximum of 1000 mm without any selvedge marks. In the
finishing machinery area, the whole system family comprising
heat-setting, squeezing, mercerizing and bleaching machines will
also be presented.
