Textile
auxiliary ranges of Boehme & DyStar being combined
Following DyStar’s acquisition of Boehme
last year, Boehme's auxiliaries business in Germany is to be
integrated into DyStar on October 1, 2007 as planned. This
includes combining the product ranges to create a broader
textile auxiliaries offering which will be marketed using the
present DyStar trade names.
In future, all pretreatment and dyeing
auxiliaries will be grouped under the Sera brand name, products
for effect finishes and technical textiles will be marketed as
Evo and garment finishing products will be sold under the Lava
brand.
The present Boehme products will be renamed
accordingly. Customers will be notified individually to make
sure the changeover takes place as smoothly as possible.
Moreover, for a transition period old names will be shown in
parallel to new branding.
As Dr. Peter Roschger, who is responsible
for the textile auxiliaries business at DyStar, stresses:
“Customers can be sure that they will receive the same
high-quality products and advisory services after integration.
The aim is to build up our auxiliaries business via our global
sales platform and to develop and commercialise textile
solutions that benefit our customers.”
Extending the range of auxiliaries is an
important step in the repositioning of DyStar as a supplier of
textile solutions for the entire production chain. The company
markets products and services to translate designers’ ideas into
finished textiles and helps reduce costs, assure quality
andshorten time-to-market.
