Brueckner presents solutions for efficient energy saving in finishing processes

One of the biggest challenges worldwide faced by the textile industry, too, is the increasing energy shortage with raising prices. In the field of textile finishing, the stenter is the line with the highest energy consumption. Therefore, Brueckner's technologists checked all parts of the stenter on potential energy savings and developed intelligent solutions to save energy.

The latest Brueckner POWER-FRAME stenter generation provided with optimised split-flow process control technology meets maximum capacity requirements to achieve optimum production results, high production output and minimum energy consumption. The modular design allows an individual adaptation to the customer's needs.

POWER-RELAX 1, 2 or 3: Best finishing with three new relaxation dryers

Brueckner developed a new relaxation dryer concept for tension-less drying, shrinking and relaxation of knitted fabric in tubular and open-width form. The innovative dryer concept ensures an optimum process control, the best possible fabric quality and a clear saving of energy.

The POWER-RELAX relaxation dryer is available in 3 versions for very different production quantities: with one passage, with two passages and with three passages:

v     The one-passage relaxation dryer POWER-RELAX 1 is the basic type.

v     The two-passage relaxation dryer POWER-RELAX 2 is compact, saves space and offers an optimum of production output in relation to the required space and the overall energy required. Entry and exit of the machine are on the same side. This allows a control of the high-performance dryer efficiently and with low cost by one single operator.

v     The three-passage relaxation dryer POWER-RELAX 3 is designed for particularly high production quantities and has an absolutely new suction concept (1st passage) and 2 highly efficient tumbling zones (2nd and 3rd passage). Depending on the type of fabric and the respective machinery configuration it provides many  benefits compared to POWER-RELAX 2.

The three-passage relaxation dryer BRÜCKNER POWER-RELAX 3 offers compared to the POWER-RELAX 2 up to 25% more production capacity with an energy consumption reduced by almost 20%.

POWER-COMPACT COMBI: Maximum flexibility & productivity

For 6 years the systems supplier Brueckner offers also compacting machines. In this period, they have sold with great success already 50 machines for woven and knitted fabric. The universal compactor POWER-COMPACT COMBI allows the flexible finishing of both, knitted and woven fabric and it is possible to achieve very different effects.

POWER-INFRATHERM: Infrared pre-dryer offers best dyeing results

In dyeing processes the dyeing padder, the radiation dryer and the Hotflue do considerably influence the dyeing result. In the field of pre-dryers, the systems supplier Bruckner offers the particularly efficient infrared gas pre-dryer POWER-INFRATHERM. The innovative technology concept of the infrared predryer ensures reproducible and homogeneous dyeing results. POWER-INFRATHERM can be used in addition flexibly in thermosol processes and for the finishing of technical textiles.

POWER-SHRINK: New high capacity sanforizing lines

Sanforizing is the last process in the textile finishing chain. Brueckner completely reworked this process and developed a new generation of high-capacity sanforizing lines which are officially certified under the SANFOR label.

The aims of the sanforizing process are the minimization of residual shrinkage, the stabilization of the fabric structure, the final surface treatment of the fabric or the improvement of the fabric hand. Typical end products are fabrics for shirts or trousers, home textiles, working clothes, tent canvas or protective sheathing.

Performance data of new POWER-SHRINK sanforizing line:

v     Best residual shrinkage of 1 - 0% due to the high-tech drive concept and rollers with load cells.

v     A production output increased by 20-40% due to optimized geometric proportions at the rubber belt line.

v     Uniform and constant shrinkage thanks to a new, technically sophisticated shrinkage control.

v     The line meets the highest requirements regarding fabric quality and is registered under the sanforized label.

v     Reproducible fabric quality (all machine parameters are automated / PLC controlled, a styles management is standard).

v     Extended service life of the rubber belt.

v     User-friendly utilization of the machine via touch-screen monitor.

Brueckner Plant Technologies: Coating and nonwovens machines

Brueckner Plant Technologies is in the market very well know as supplier of systems for the finishing of technical textiles.  Brueckner could also clearly enlarge its range of competence in the field of nonwovens technology. Brueckner Plant Technology pioneers new technological ways in both fields: coating and nonwovens.

Brueckner can be approached at ITMAAsia Shanghai at hall E1, Booth A02.
