Pakistan to invest in Chittagong EPZ soon

A Pakistani Company will invest US$ 3.1 million to set up a knit composite industry in the Chittagong Export Processing Zone. The company, M/s Majum Knit Limited, will produce 3 million pieces of knit/woven garments, sweater and home textile annually. It will also create employment opportunity for 632 Bangladeshis and four foreign nationals. An agreement to this effect was signed between the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority and Majum Knit Limited in Bepza Complex.
