Italian Olimpias chooses THEN-AIRFLOW Technology

The Italian company Olimpias, a subsidiary of the famous Benetton Group received two additional THEN-AIRFLOW SYNERGY 500 aerodynamic dyeing machines. This order was the result of an extensive judgment of performance on the industrial scale with THEN-AIRFLOW SYNERGY 250.

Convinced of the advantages and benefits of the THEN-AIRFLOW technology, it is anticipated that this delivery of two machines will be the start of an extensive programme by Olimpias to replace their existing dyeing machines.

The world famous and successful Benetton Group, is one of the most important brand in the world, named “United Colors of Benetton“. Olimpias  provides Benetton Group with knitted -fabrics part of which made with THEN-AIRFLOW Technology. Olimpias is one of the European leader in all textiles activities such as spinning, weaving, knitting and finish-garment treatment

Environmental aspects

 Olimpias is focused on the quality, respecting the environment and keeping:

v     The attention to energy savings.

v     The attention to investing on the best technologies available.

Olimpias started its cooperation with Then Maschinen GmbH by introducing the new aerodynamic THEN-AIRFLOW SYNERGY in the Knitted fabric facility located in Vicenza. The average daily production, around 20 tons, is made of fine knitted fabrics of natural fibres as cotton, viscose and corresponding “Lycra” and/or PES blends.

Olimpias says that, “the choice for the THEN-AIRFLOW SYNERGY technology was taken not only to produce the best quality but also evaluating the performance in terms of productivity and  energy savings compared with the other technologies now present on the market.”
