Murata Machinery celebrated the 10th
anniversary of Vortex Spinning Technology
Murata’s Textile Machinery Division continues to
be a recognized leader in Vortex and Air Jet spinning technology along
with highly advanced winding, twisting and texturing systems that
provide sophisticated textile engineering for the yarn manufacturing
segment of the textile industry. Murata Machinery Limited celebrated
the 10th anniversary of the Vortex spinning system at ITMA 2007 in
Munich. The highlights of ITMA 2007 are given here for the interest of
our readers.
Collaboration with COTTON INC & Lenzing
Group
Muratec and Cotton Incorporated have maintained a
mutually beneficial relationship for more than 25 years, as both
companies are committed to the idea that cotton fiber remains one of
the most important textile ingredients.
Lenzing AG is the world leader when it comes to
the technology and marketing of cellulose fibers and offers three
fiber generations. TENCEL® is the first cellulose fiber which is based
on an innovative nano technology that guarantees superior moisture
management and optimum skin sensory properties. Lenzing Modal® and the
classic fiber Lenzing Viscose® sets the quality standard in the
textile industry as a whole. Lenzing FR®, the flame resistant
specialty viscose fiber, prevents from heat in a variety of different
applications. There is a perfect fit of Lenzing Fibers and Murata air
jet technology: highest productivity is combined with best
performance, as yarns out of Lenzing Fibers show superior properties
specifically during washing.
Muratec Automatic Winder
No.21C PROCESS CONER Link Coner Type
According to Murata Machinery Limited (Textile
Machinery division), Muratec's No.21C PROCESS CONER - (TYPE LINK CONER)
has the highest delivery record all over the world. The tray to tray
bobbin transport system technology which was first developed and
introduced by Muratec offers following attributes.
Attributes of Muratec's 21C Link Coner:
v
Quality: Tray to tray bobbin
transportation between the spinning frame and the winder makes it
possible to keep it clean and free from damaging the bobbin cops. It
also eliminates the risk of mixed yarn counts.
v
Flexibility: Lot change and switching yarn
type can be adjusted by each ring spinning frame. According to
production of spinning frame, winding units can be freely added or
reduced by one unit.
v
Higher efficiency: Since the ring cops are
untouched, it ensures that the yarn layers are not disturbed which in
turns leads to less breakages thus improving the efficiency.
v
Easy maintenance: Simple and compact
design which is easy to maintain, and it is possible to work on one
winding unit without stopping the other units.
v
Creating more space - 30% less Floor
Space: Storage space of full or empty bobbin and bobbin transportation
area are not required.
v
Reducing manpower: The Link Coner
automatically sorts ejected bobbins according to the amount of
remaining yarn, and no operator intervention is required for handling
or transportation.
v
Utilizing less accessories: Link Coner
needs less number of plastic bobbin tubes, and also does not damage it
when supplied. Link Coner can reduce the peripheral accessories costs.
Energy saving Twister
Murata also exhibited the Individual-Spindle
Motor Driven TFO Twister No.3CA ECO. which meets the ecological demand
of spinners and consumers. Electrical power consumption and rising
energy cost is an important issue all over the world. The No.3CA ECO
TWISTER has further developed since its debut at ITMA ASIA 2005. At
ITMA 2007, higher speed operation can be realized and the effects on
the environment are reduced, alongwith increase in the production
efficiency.
No.3 CA ECO. TWISTER realizes drastic energy
saving, compared with the conventional tangential belt system. With
individual-spindle motor driven, compact servomotors directly drive
each spindles. This efficient mechanical system provides a variety of
advantages. Environment-friendly and energy-efficient twister can
contributes to better quality and productivity at your mill. Some of
the advantages are given as under:
v
The smart drive technology makes it possible to reduce
noise level ( 5 -10 dB reduction), and by eliminating belts from the
conventional drive system, the dust by belt wear is also reduced.
v
Number of twist and spindle speed can be easily set up
with the help of one touch input through the Keyboard (RPM, S&Z,TPM).
v
Since unevenness between spindles in speed is very low,
the number of twist is even, thus the machine produces higher quality
twisted yarn. .

Arrange Winder
Murata and Katayama co-developed the innovative
Arrange Winder, which was recently awarded the 1st Japan the
Manufacturing Grand Prix from the Prime Minister of Japan. The machine
winds a g-splashed-pattern yarn, while joining yarns made of the
different materials, counts, and colors with a high speed operation.
It is possible to control the 1/f fluctuation, random number, and
length by PC, and it is quite easy to program the multi-colored
(materials, counts) packages, seemingly random mixing of yarn.
Therefore, according to Murata, by using ARRANGE
WINDER, it is possible to produce the advanced sample and fabrics for
sale at one process. ARRANGE WINDER helps the customer to try or
produce the different lots and/or patterns easily.
